A taxi or private hire medical is an assessment that all drivers must pass before being granted their licence to operate. The test is carried out to ensure that taxi drivers are medically fit to safely drive a private hire vehicle or hackney carriage on public roads.
Before the GP can complete your Taxi Medical you need to have already printed and completed the appropriate sections of your form. The Receptionists will then forward your form to the GP to complete during your appointment.
To book your appointment we require a deposit of £40 which must be paid in cash, we do not accept card payments. Once we have received the forms and deposit, we will allocate an appointment slot for the GP to complete your Medical Assessment.
