Coil (IUD – intrauterine device) and Implant

Coil and Implants can be fitted in the surgery by one of our GPs. Please book a routine appointment with a doctor to discuss your contraceptive options. If you decide you would like to have either a coil or implant following your discussion with the GP, you can arrange an appointment with reception to have this fitted.

The Depo injection can be administered by our Practice Nurse. If you have not had a Depo injection before, you need to book a consultation with the Practice Nurse prior to your first injection.
